Academic Excellence Scholarships Recognising Outstanding Performance in Undergraduate Studies: (Up to $10,000) : These scholarships are awarded annually to high performing students via the three academic Colleges. the Vice-Chancellor announced the Academic Excellence Scholarships Recognising Outstanding Performance in Undergraduate Studies. read more
Africa Excellence Scholarship: (up to $50,000)

Anderson-Yamanaka Scholarship: Up to $5,000)
This is a donor-funded scholarship will support a high achieving commencing student studying a Bachelor of Arts. Preference will to be given to students who are studying a language. read more
Catherine and Peter Tay High Achiever Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship: up to $32,000
This scholarship was established in 2013 by Catherine and Peter Tay, of Singapore. It is a continuing demonstration of appreciation that in 1968 Peter Tay received his undergraduate education for a double degree in Industrial Engineering. read more

The China Excellence Scholarship has been established to attract high-performing students to study at the University of Newcastle. This is a merit-based scholarship that recognises International applicants with a strong academic background. read more
College of Engineering, Science and Environment Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship: up to $4,000
This scholarship has been established to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in eligible programs for the first year of study with the College of Engineering, Science and Environment (CESE). read more
College of Engineering, Science and Environment Gender Equity Scholarship: Up to $4,000
This scholarship was established to support the top 20 ranked female students commencing in an eligible undergraduate program with the College of Engineering, Science and Environment at the University of Newcastle. read more
College of Engineering, Science and Environment High Achiever Scholarship: up to $2,000
This scholarship was established to recognise high achieving students and to encourage and support them to enter eligible undergraduate programs within the College of Engineering, Science and Environment (CESE). read more
College of International Education International Pathways Scholarship: up to $17,575
This scholarship has been established as an International Pathway Scholarship for eligible students entering the University of Newcastle. It is applicable for students who have completed an applicable pathway program. read more
