2. Salt ……………………………………………….1 Pinch
3. Nutmeg ………………………………………… ½ teaspoon
4. Sugar …………………………………………… 2 Table Spoon
5. Groundnut Oil ………………………………..    2 Table Spoon
6. Powdered Milk ……………………………….     3 Table Spoon
7. Raw egg …………………………………………..1 Table Spoon
8. Baking powder …………………………………    1 Table Spoon

METHOD

STEP 1: Mix Salt, baking powder and nutmeg together with flour in a container and add groundnut oil or margarine to the mixture.
STEP 2: Beat the raw egg and sugar together in a separate container.
STEP 3: Pour gradually mixture 2 into mixture 1 and mix until it forms a fairly stiff dough.
STEP 4: Turn the mixture into a floured pastry board and knead until smooth, continue rolling lightly to a thickness of about 1 cm.
STEP 5 Cut into attractive knots shapes.
STEP 6: Pour into deep groundnut oil and fry until is brownish in colour.
STEP 7: Filter out from the oil into a perforated container and allow it to cool.
STEP 8: Package for sale.
