Note: All corps members are posted to a state other than their state of origin except married women will only allow staying in their husband state of residence, with the necessary documentation to approve the same.
The differences between the three certificate issued by the authority of the National Youth Service Corps include:
Nigeria Community police Recruitment
(1) Discharge Certificate – is given to the graduate who serves and completed one-year national service
(2) Exclusion Certificate – Part-time graduate are not allowed to participate in national service, therefore exclusion certificate will be issued to them.
(3) Exemption Certificate – All graduate who graduated after 30 years of age will not be eligible to serve, therefore, He/she will obtain an exemption certificate.
Any of the three certificates can be used for a job application and employment purposes.
