About the Africa Fact-checking Fellowship
The Africa Fact-checking Fellowship is designed to follow up and build on the success of the alumni fellows. #FactsMatter237 aimed to track and map viral social media trends related to Cameroon’s major thematic issues and train trainers. While #AFFCameroon, through its various cohorts, aims to ensure seasoned professionals are empowered.
Five cohorts have been trained, bringing together professionals from the South West, North West, Littoral, Centre, North, Far North and West. About 20 members of the Cameroon Bloggers Association from Douala, Yaoundé and Dschang have also benefited from the fellowship. Read more scholarship
